Personal Branding


The time has come for another red-eyed, caffeine driven paper written by a zombie in Neil Hair’s undead army. This time, the paper focus was on personal branding strategies. Apply the five-question framework we have been exploring each class this quarter, I identified the gaps in my branding strategies, and the tactics necessary to increase my online presence. Having trudged through a source collecting marathon, I feel confident that my future steps are both strategic and achievable; that is after the majority of finals week is over.


It seems that finding a niche online is not as easy as it sounds, nor is it simply a matter of bombarding the virtual boards. Instead, a strategy that is aligned with who I want to be personally, and professionally, is most likely to jive with my goals and ability to monitor my reputation. It is still a work in progress, but I have already made a few substantial steps towards the new me. The following is a mind map; a compilation of where I am now, and where I hope to be in the near future:
